  • Procedure: Testicular implants can be required by men whose testicles did not descend at puberty or who may have had removal of one or both testicles. A ” Mentor ” silicon testicular implant is used, the size of which will be discussed with surgeon.
  • Lengh: 1 hour.
  • Anesthesia: Local with sedation.
  • In/ outpatient: Overnight stay in the clinic.
  • Side effects: Swelling.
  • Risks: Infection.
  • Recovery: Back to work: 2-3 days. More strenuous activity 1-2 weeks.
